Progress!

This past week or so John was able to get the vanity cabinet in, and the last row of tile laid and grouted, and all the tile sealed! The bathroom is coming along beautifully!

Before cabinet and removed wallpaper.
I worked on stripping the wallpaper, and sanded the drywall where John had to float it.

John installing the cabinet :)

The vanity in :) Drawers will be on the left, and cabinet doors on the right.

John's fantastic tile job! It's all sealed and just needs caulk around the tub!

The awesome shelf!

Next step in the bathroom is caulking the tub, and adding the faucet, and then the toilet. There is a chance the texture will be before the toilet, but we will see. We plan to have a temporary countertop installed until we can get the real countertop in.

We have also been getting other things ready for the birth. We have the crib up and ready, and all the birth supplies set aside until the eventful day (due date is 2 weeks away!)! I also made a valance for our bedroom so that it has a more home-y look. It turned out ok considering I haven't made curtains before, and this was not with a pattern. I'm needing to fix the hem of the valance (the piece of fabric I used that was already cut when I got it from a friend, and it wasn't even on the bottom edge), but I'll do that another day when I feel like seam ripping...I couldn't tell if the fabric was cut evenly or not until I had it all sewn with the casing for the rod, and it was up.

(The picture was taken on my phone, so it's not the best.)
The fabric is an ivory background with soft sage green roses and other flowers on it. Very pretty!
